Qingdao Changlong Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., founded in 1994 with a registered capital of RMB 309.9 million, is headquartered in Pingdu City, Qingdao. The company governs two divisions: the Pressure Vessel Division and the Rail Transit Division. The Pressure Vessel Division covers an area of 36,000 m², while the Rail Transit Division occupies around 16,500 m². The company currently employs more than 400 staff members, including over 60 professional technical personnel and more than 10 external senior consultants.
Adhering to the corporate philosophy of “Customer First, Quality Foremost,” Qingdao Changlong has been continuously committed to the R&D, design, and manufacturing of pressure vessels and energy-saving environmental protection equipment for industries such as thermal power, nuclear power, petrochemical, coal chemical, and fertilizer. The company provides supporting equipment for 15MW–1000MW generator units, and has an annual production capacity of over 1,500 sets of pressure vessels, including deaerators, high- and low-pressure heaters, cooling and heat-exchange equipment, high-pressure petrochemical vessels, towers, reactors, separators, and alumina-industry pressure vessels. Products are delivered to more than 30 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions in China, and exported to over 50 countries and regions across Europe, America and Asia.
In 2014, with the continuous expansion of its business sectors, Changlong established the Rail Transit Division in the CRRC Motor Town of Jihongtan, Chengyang District, Qingdao, specializing in the manufacturing of components for metros and EMUs. The company has since become a qualified equipment supplier to CRRC Group and Bombardier Group.
Over the years, Changlong has obtained ISO9001-2015 Quality Management System Certification, ISO14001-2015 Environmental Management System Certification, and ISO45001-2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification. It is licensed by the State Administration for Market Regulation for the manufacturing of A1-class high-pressure special equipment and for the design of stationary pressure vessels. The company has also acquired ASME design & manufacturing authorization and U-stamp, EN15085 railway product welding certification, ISO/TS22163:2017 certification, and has been recognized as a qualified supplier for CNNC and Sinopec.
For more than 20 years, Changlong has cooperated with universities and research institutes such as Zhejiang University and Qingdao University of Science and Technology, integrating and absorbing advanced domestic and international technologies. The company has successfully developed high-efficiency tray-type deaerators, high- and low-pressure heaters, various petrochemical heat exchangers and pressure vessels, as well as alumina-industry vessels. It has obtained over 40 invention and utility model patents, been awarded as a National High-tech Enterprise and listed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a “Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative (SRDI) — Little Giant Enterprise.” The company also established the Qingdao High-Efficiency Heat Exchange Equipment Engineering Research Center and the Qingdao Enterprise Technology Center.
